   This must have been a bad batch but every other bag I used burst at the seams! Ugh!!! The reason I buy Glad Kitchen bags is to ensure this doesn’t happen. Now, I have to either double the bags or use the 1/2 full because I never know when it’s going to burst. Not cost effective! I can’t return them because the time has expired. I didn’t use them right away. Already cancelled the next standing order!

   These bags frequently end up with splits at the bottom corners, despite a load of garbage that isn’t particularly heavy, pointy, or otherwise unusual. I don’t think I’ll be buying these again as a result. I’ve posted a photo of a bag just taken straight out of the box — I discovered this split in the bottom corner just after waving the bag in the air lightly to inflate it.

   I don’t spend a lot of time thinking or buying trash bags. But when I opened this box and felt how thin they were I was extremely surprised. I buy a lot of name brand products. But when it doesn’t matter, and an equal to or better than generic is available, I go generic. I used to buy Glad bags all the time. It does take a little time to compare mil ply, but I only had to do it once. The off brand I’ve bought for at least 5 yrs were thicker, cheaper & better. Oh well, only 89 to go.
